Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) is a multi-platform operating system, both designed for smartphones and tablets. Google hopes to eventually an end to the different (and therefore confusing) Android versions, as currently exist with Android 2.3 Gingerbread for smartphones and Android 3.0 Honeycomb for tablets.
New interface & Multitasking on Recent Apps
The interface of Android 4.0 has been updated and looks more modern, nicer with animations and a new font. Speed ??control is provided via the virtual keypad in the system tray – Home, Back and Recent Apps.
